Dr. Dean Jerding, President - Infinovate Corp

Dean is an expert in software architecture and design, software engineering, and UI design and usability--spanning the software stack from top to bottom and front-end to back-end. He is currently President and Co-Founder of Infinovate, a custom software development and consulting firm in Atlanta. Dean has his Ph.D. in CS from Georgia Tech and BSEE from the University of Virginia. He was previously the V.P. of R&D at ClickFox. Highlights of Dean's career include:

1. Expert in software architecture and design, software development processes, user-interfaces and usability, information visualization, and software intellectual property.

Architect, UI designer, developer, and project manager for: ...various software projects at Infinovate ranging from HTML middleware on IPTV set-top boxes, to accessing set-top box functionality from outside the home, to Ruby on Rails enterprise applications for mid-sized businesses. ...the award-winning ClickFox User Behavior Intelligence System, a Java-based enterprise application with a distributed back-end and web application front-end, being used by Fortune 100 companies. ...resident software applications and platform in C/C++ for the first generation digital cable network at Scientific-Atlanta, deployed in millions of homes in North America.
3. Former VP of R&D at ClickFox, building the R&D team up to 20 engineers and overseeing a $1M+ budget, as the company grew from 10 to 50 employees.
4. Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Virginia.
5. Inventor of thirteen U.S. patents, author of several journal articles, speaker at various conferences, and guest lecturer at Georgia Tech.
